SND provides access to special collections that are the results of various projects to digitise materials that are deemed of interest for research. These projects have been made possible through external funding. Note: the special collections are only avaliable in Swedish.

Swedish Party Programs and Election Manifestos

Search party programs and election manifestos of Swedish political parties from 1897 until today, and trace their development in regards to use of language, politics, and ideology. The collection also provides a good overview of the central issues in Sweden during the 20th century.

The Swedish Gallup archive 1942-1956

For those interested in the opinions of the Swedish people in the 1940s and the 1950s, SND has made the Gallup Institute’s surveys available. For the first time the Swedish opinions and attitudes was measured. People were asked about their eating and reading habits, furniture and wardrobe among other things.
