Access administration in DORIS
To manage your organization's account in DORIS, there is an administration tool located at the top of the menu.
On the DAU tab, you will find a list of individuals in your organization with access to the Reviewer mode in DORIS. Administrators can add or remove members by searching for names or e-mail addresses. The list updates automatically upon changes – there is no need to click Save at the bottom of the page. Note that users must have logged into My Pages at least once for DORIS to locate their profiles.
It is also possible to specify which e-mail addresses DORIS should use for your organization, both for data descriptions and for managing data requests.
System address: Enter the departmental address to be used for automatic email notifications sent by DORIS, such as notifications about a newly submitted data description or a data request. If no system address is specified, these notifications will be sent to all DAU team members’ individual email addresses.
Support address: Enter the e-mail address to be used for researcher inquiries about reviews or ongoing data requests. This address is included, for example, in the confirmation message the researcher receives after submitting a data description.
Changes to e-mail addresses must be saved.
If data are stored in SND CARE, no e-mail address needs to be specified for data requests, as the SND office handles this until the organization begins using local storage.
If the interim solution for local storage without integration with DORIS is used, or if the organization has integrated local storage with DORIS, the system and support addresses must also be specified for data requests.
On the Principal tab, you will find information about your organization. This information can only be updated by authorized staff at the SND office and is used by the system to determine processes such as the workflow for reviews.
The following information is included here:
- The organization’s name in Swedish and English
- Organization number
- Organization ROR ID
- Domain
- Homepage
- DOI prefix (Specified when the organization has its own DOI prefix used for data shared via DORIS; this requires local data storage.)
- Type of principal
- Type of storage
This tab also contains information about whether the organization:
- Handles requests for data (when data are stored locally).
- Has access to the Reviewer mode and is involved in the review process for data descriptions.
