Ten years after the FAIR principles were introduced, they have become a key framework for research data management worldwide. Join this webinar as we reflect on developments over the past decade and discuss the new opportunities that could emerge through the establishment of a Swedish national EOSC node.
The webinar is organised by the Swedish Research Council, SciLifeLab Data Centre and the Swedish National Data Service (SND).
The webinar will be held in english.
Programme
Preliminary programme, to be updated with additional speakers and further details.

- Keynote: AI for FAIR, FAIR for AI: Towards the next generation of research
- FAIR: What Has Happened Over the Past Ten Years and What Lies Ahead?
- F in FAIR: Findability
How has findability evolved through digitalisation and FAIR data management, and what developments can we expect in the future? - A in FAIR: Accessibility
How is access to FAIR research data enabled today, and how will it be facilitated in the future? - I in FAIR: Interoperability
New technological possibilities now make it easier to connect and integrate data. However, common metadata standards, descriptions and terminologies remain essential prerequisites for achieving interoperability. - R in FAIR: Reusability
The value of data is realised through its reuse. But what is required to ensure that research data are as reusable as possible? - Demonstration of the EOSC EU Node
