SND is launching an open suggestion box for Researchdata.se on GitHub. It allows user to submit ideas and requests for new features, discuss suggestions from others, and vote for those they consider most important.
“We are already receiving quite a few requests and suggestions for how Researchdata.se could be developed. We hope the suggestion box will make it easier for our users to share their ideas, while also giving more people the opportunity to discuss and comment on the suggestions we receive,” says Sara Svensson, Section Manager for Research Data Services at SND.
A way to share information about future developments
SND also plans to use the suggestion box to share information about future developments and gather feedback on work in progress.
“Hopefully, it will be a useful tool when we prioritize future development. We can also use the suggestion box to present ideas we are working on and get feedback from users at an early stage,” says Olof Olsson, IT Architect at SND.
A completely open suggestion box
The suggestion box is completely open and anyone can read the suggestions and discussions. However, a GitHub account is required to submit a suggestion or take part in the discussion.
Those who do not wish to create a GitHub account can still send their comments to snd@snd.se or researchdata@snd.se.
