CESSDA is recruiting a director

CESSDA, an umbrella organisation for data archives across Europe, is recruiting a new director. The director is expected to lead the scientific and technical development of the infrastructure, build strong and effective international relationships, and direct and manage the CESSDA central office and team in Bergen, Norway. The closing date for applications is 18 September and the anticipated start date in office is January 2017.

Since the 1970s, CESSDA and its member organisations have worked together to improve access to data for researchers and students. Via the CESSDA’s member archive, researchers and students have access to more than 25,000 data collections in social science.
