RESEARCH DATA MANAGEMENT – SUPPORT
University West’s Data Access Unit (DAU) offers support to researchers and doctoral students in issues regarding accessibility, sharing and long-term preservation of research data.
The DAU is a cross-disciplinary function focusing on service and support on how research data produced by University West researchers can be made findable, available and possible to reuse. This function, which includes various competences, is available for individual consultations throughout the research process.
In addition to the service mentioned, University West’s DAU offers education and support on data management, documentation and data curation. Furthermore, the researchers can enclose their datasets, including descriptions, for review to ensure that the data quality is high enough to make available and reusable.
