Researchdata.se is launching on 25 March – what will happen to SND.se?
On 25 March, Swedish National Data Service (SND) will launch a new national web portal for research data: Researchdata.se. This portal will make it easier for researchers to find, share, and reuse research data across various disciplines. The launch of the new portal will bring significant changes to SND’s current website, which may result in temporary disruptions to certain pages, functions, and tools.
Changes to SND.se
Between 17 and 25 March, we will be updating SND.se, which may cause temporary disruptions, such as pages becoming temporarily unavailable. From 25 March, the content on SND.se will be divided between two separate websites, each with a distinct target audience:
- Researchdata.se will be the primary platform for researchers, featuring SND’s research data catalogue as well as information on finding, sharing, and reusing research data.
- SND.se will have a clearer focus on research data support, including information on sustainable data management, metadata review, and data management plans.
Key changes from 25 March:
- SND’s research data catalogue will move to Researchdata.se, offering richer search results from more catalogues.
- The pages “Find Data,” “Manage Data,” and “Describe and Share Data” will be removed from SND.se.
- The DORIS tool will remain available on SND.se.
- Links to SND.se may need to be updated to ensure accurate information.
