Researcher Gustav Nilsonne, one of the experts in SND's communication group within the DAU university network, has been appointed European Open Data Champion by SPARC Europe. The organisation promotes open science and scholarship and “initiate, facilitate and support the implementation of the long-term objective of opening access to European research for all”. Members of SPARC are primarily university libraries in Europe and North America.
Gustav Nilsonne was nominated by Beate Eellend, coordinator of OpenAccess.se at National Library of Sweden. To become a champion, you must actively contribute to implementing and advocating new open scholarship principles and practices, and your efforts must speed up open access to research results.
