2018 was an eventful year for SND. In this first year as a consortium with seven Swedish universities, SND’s operations both changed and expanded. It was a year with a clear focus on collaboration. As an example, the national network of higher education institutions and researching authorities grew considerably in 2018 and continues to grow. With the consortium universities and the network, SND have initiated actions toward a national infrastructure for research data, which will also contribute to the Swedish development in Open Science. Apart from the national work, SND were also involved in several exciting projects on the co-ordination and exchange of research data on an international level.
