Interdisciplinary workshop on research documentation

Research documentation, the ability to manage and access scientific records and data in the short and long term, is an imperative for good quality in research and scientific practice. Research documentation is also an important part of the scientific and cultural heritage. But what should be preserved and for how long? What activities in the research process should be documented and for what reasons? What should be left to research projects in the future and for the posterity? What should be done to guarantee current and future users good quality in content management of digital scientific data? This workshop is dedicated to these questions as well as to questions about ownership, copyright, reuse of research data and strategy for preservation. Scientists, records- and archives managers as well as ICT-people are invited to sign up.
