Description

This survey is the Swedish part of the 2006 'European Social Survey ' (ESS), and is focusing on timing of life and personal and social well-being. The survey also includes data on media and social trust, politics, subjective well being, household characteristics and socio-demographics as well as human values as part of the core module of ESS.

Purpose:

The European Social Survey (the ESS) is an academically-driven social survey designed to chart and explain the interaction between Europe's changing institutions and the attitudes, beliefs and behaviour patterns of its diverse populations.
