Description
A clinical examination of a subgroup of women in the Swedish mammography cohort living in Uppsala was conducted between 2003 and 2009. The cycle of re-examination for this group started in year 2015 and is ongoing. For women living in Västerås a clinical examination were conducted between 2010 and 2019. The re-examination for women in Västerås is pending but the aim is to start during 2022. In connection to the clinical visit the participants have filled in health and lifestyle questionnaires, and blood, urine, faeces and adipose tissue has been collected at the visit together with functional tests (e.g. memory test, gait speed and muscle strength) and biometric measures (height, weight, body composition).

Women participating in the health examination 2003-2009 have been invited to revisit the clinic for a second health examination. The helath examination includes measurment of weight, height, waist, hip and blood pressure and sampling of blood, urine, faeces and addipose tissue. This follow-up is since January 2015.
