METHODOLOGICAL INFORMATION



1. Description of methods used for collection/generation of data: 

Cross-sectional internet based survey among health care related researchers and students at Swedish universities. 


2. Methods for processing the data: 

Minimal processing. Free text research field answers were categorized into medicine, public health, social science, and other. Added a random id. Data of not consenting participants was removed.

Results of the ranking question

gender: Gender of participant

agegroup: Age group of participant

category: Research field, categorized from free text answers. One of 'medicine', 'public health', 'social science', 'other', 'NA'. 

complete: TRUE if the ranking provided by the participant was complete, i.e. 10 unique numbers.

imputable: TRUE if it was possible to complete the incomplete ranking. This is the case if the participant provided 9 unique ranks. FALSE otherwise or if 'complete' is TRUE

included: Is TRUE if either 'complete' or 'imputable' is TRUE.

NA - Not available, if no answer was provided by a participant.
